Round Top Box Tutorial by Aimee Maddern

Hi!  It's Aimee and today I am sharing a tutorial for the 

Round Top Box Digital Cut File!

I only have a 12x12-cutting mat so I ungrouped the pattern and made it 2 separate cuts. The handle, box and heart windows I cut from red cardstock. The lid and side panels I cut from kraft cardstock.

1.     Take all your pieces and fold

2.    Glue box together, I used glossy accents, squeeze a small amount of glossy accents 

{or adhesive of choice} on the folded tab. Hold till adhesive is dry, repeat till all four sides have been adhered.

 

4. You now have the base of your box, then I inked all my pieces *optional

5.     Center the side panels onto the box base, leaving a ring of red showing, and adhere.

6.     Take the lid roll around glossy accents bottle or something round 

{this is to train the lid, and keep it round}

7.     Glue handle together {do not glue below score lines}

8.     Stick handle through the top cuts in lid.

9.     When handle is through the lid fold over the bottom of the handle {below score lines}

  adhere the bottom of the handle to the underside of the lid.

10. Dab each tab on the side of the lid with adhesive

11. Adhere heart window to the lid {tabs} hold each tab while glue dries 

12. Place lid on box and add embellishments.
